Caliu works with any AI app that lets you add a connector by link. The steps are almost always the same.
The general recipe
- In your AI app's settings, look for Connectors, Apps, or Integrations, and choose to add a custom one.
- Name it Caliu and paste this link:
https://api.caliuapp.com/mcp - If the app asks how to sign in, choose OAuth.
- A Caliu page opens. Sign in if asked, check the permissions, and click Allow.
Le Chat by Mistral
Open Connectors, choose Add Connector, then the Custom MCP Connector tab, and paste the Caliu link. On team accounts, an admin adds connectors for everyone.
Perplexity
Open Settings, then Connectors, and add a custom connector with the Caliu link. Custom connectors need a paid Perplexity plan, and on business accounts an admin has to allow them first.
Gemini
Some Gemini accounts can add a custom app by link from the Gemini web app. If yours offers it, add the Caliu link there. If not, Gemini can't connect to Caliu yet.
Coding tools
Claude Code, Cursor, VS Code, and similar tools connect too. Their setup is in the MCP server for developers article, in How Caliu Works.
Whatever the app, connecting is free, and every app you approve appears under Connected apps, where you can remove it anytime.
