Caliu's interface is available in 11 languages: English, Spanish, Catalan, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Dutch, Japanese, Simplified Chinese, and Russian.
By default, Caliu detects your language automatically: the web app follows your browser's language, and the iPhone, iPad, and Mac apps follow your device language. If nothing matches, Caliu falls back to English.
Change the language
- In the web app: open the user menu at the bottom of the sidebar and choose Language. Pick a language, or choose the system option to go back to automatic detection. The change applies immediately.
- In the Mac app: open Settings, then find the Language section. Choose System default or any of the 11 languages. Quit and reopen Caliu for the change to take effect.
- In the iPhone and iPad app: Caliu follows your device language. To use a different language just for Caliu, open the iOS Settings app, find Caliu, and pick a language there. The app picks it up on next launch.
Good to know
Your notes are never touched: language settings only affect the interface around them. And "Caliu" stays "Caliu" in every language.
