Caliu ships with 10 color themes. Each one pairs a light and a dark look, and each look has its own name: Caliu turns into Bosc at night, Cel into Capvespre, Magrana into Verema, and so on.
The full set: Caliu, Ginesta, Cel, Espígol, Turquesa, Glacera, Coure, Magrana, Pissarra, and Tinta. They range from warm parchment tones to cool blues and deep inks, always calm, never loud.
Light, dark, or system
Independently of the theme, you choose the appearance mode: light, dark, or system, which follows your device's appearance automatically. Pick system and Caliu switches between your theme's day and night looks on its own.
Change your theme
- In the web app: open the user menu at the bottom of the sidebar and choose Theme. A panel opens beside your notes so you can preview each theme live. The light, dark, and system toggle is inside the same panel.
- In the iPhone and iPad app: go to Settings, then Theme.
- In the Mac app: open Settings, then Theme.
Themes control colors only. Fonts are a separate setting, so your favorite typeface stays put when you switch palettes. See the typography article for that.
