Caliu offers a curated catalog of 30 fonts: 29 hand-picked typefaces plus your device's system font, organized into three categories: sans serif, serif, and monospace. The same catalog is available on every platform, so a font you love on the Mac renders identically on the web.
How it works
Font settings have two layers:
- Your category picks. Choose your preferred sans serif, serif, and monospace font. Think of these as "my sans", "my serif", and "my mono".
- Per-surface tuning. Four surfaces make up the app: the interface (sidebar, lists, menus), body text in the editor, headings, and code. Each surface follows its natural category by default, but you can pin any specific font to any surface.
Out of the box, the interface uses Plus Jakarta Sans, body text and headings use Lora, and code uses JetBrains Mono.
Change your fonts
- In the web app: open the user menu at the bottom of the sidebar and choose Typography.
- In the iPhone and iPad app: go to Settings, then Typography.
- In the Mac app: open Settings, then Typography.
The picker shows live specimens of every font, so you can browse until something feels right.
